Experience
ACMC's project partners have produced, transported and delivered millions of tonnes of pipes and fittings to international customers since 1971. Our pipes and fittings manufacturer, Xinxing, is the second largest pipe producer in the world and the largest production base for Ductile Iron pipes, providing products for some of the most extensive water, slurry, coal-seam gas and waste water infrastructure projects globally.
Xinxing has supplied the world's largest pipe DN 3000 for China's north / south water diversion project as well as providing a range of pipe sizes for pipeline projects in countries such as Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Korea, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Spain, Turkey and Vietnam, to name a few.
Our experienced contract administration and project management team features senior engineers, and technical, production and logistics advisors. Mostly based in Brisbane, team members have Australian and international experience in major water infrastructure projects including the AUS $220 million Beenleigh Merrimac Pimpama Alliance wastewater network upgrade on the Gold Coast and the AUS $180 million Bundamba Alliance in Ipswich.
A recent example of ACMC technical team's previous ability to innovate was during the design for the Beenleigh Merrimac Pimpama Wastewater Network Upgrade on Queensland's Gold Coast. A No Dig Solution for 9 kilometres of DN 1200 trunk sewer installation resulted in installation of reticulation at an average depth of 15 metres to overcome environmental and construction constraints for open cut installation. Additional benefits were increased storage volume in the reticulation system and allowances for future de-commissioning of 14 pump stations adjacent to the trunk main.
We take a relationship-based approach to working with our clients and client project teams. This is due to our team member's experience working on infrastructure alliances and other relationship contracts and the benefits we believe are inherent in sharing information, developing technical solutions together and setting 'better than business as usual' performance targets for our work.
We do not have a culture of making unnecessary claims for additional costs, mostly due to our team's involvement in relationship contracts. Similarly, our manufacturing partner, Xinxing, is government-controlled and highly accountable for service procedures.
